Have Some Ice Cream and Join the Green Light Movement #JoinGreenLight #ad

BOSTON AND AROUND, NEWS | | April 14, 2015 at 12:56 pm

I’m a huge fan of Ben & Jerry’s (the brand and the ice-cream). Their level of wit and progressiveness marry well (and those flavors don’t hurt either). I am also a vocal advocate of Climate Change (yes it is a thing and no it is not an opinion).

I’m excited to write that Stop & Shop is partnering with Ben & Jerry’s for a fun in-store event on Wednesday April 15, 2015. We already know that Ben & Jerry’s and their commitment to making the world a better place but now they are taking it up a notch. They are now bringing this to the people with an in person early Earth Day event. Jerry Greenfield, co-founder and the “Jerry” in the “Ben and Jerry’s”, will be discussing climate change and encouraging the audience to do their part to work towards 100% clean energy. I’m wicked excited to meet him and I suggest you get down there too.

As if that was not enough to lure you there they also have giveaways, activities and you cannot talk Ben & Jerry’s without free ice cream! At 11:00am the ice-cream truck will pull in and Jerry will make a speech at 12:00pm. Bring your kids, neighbors, aunts, uncles, heck even bring your coffee barista.

Last year at #niricamp14 I taught my kids about the importance of fair trade and each time you purchase a Ben & Jerry’s product, it helps grow green efforts in the community. Visit JoinGreenLight to learn more and sign up to receive savings and tips throughout the year.

You can also enter for a chance to win a $500 gift card to Stop & Shop.
