Advance Screening DreamWorks new movie Home (Passes available)

Home is a movie my kids spied as a trailer while watching another months ago and my little one noted that it was close to her birthday so wanted it as her birthday surprise party. Don’t you love how excited kids get about their birthday?

My favorite thing about this movie is the appeal to all kids about that time they felt like they did not fit in. Albeit it be an alien with these feelings, but feelings are feelings! I’m also biased that the movie has a girl in the movie as the main (earth) character and not as a sidekick as relegated to most movies.

More details about the movie

Release: March 27, 2015, in 3D

Director: Tim Johnson

Screenplay by:  Based upon the novel The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex

When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip,  Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human. And while he changes her planet and she changes his world, they discover the true meaning of the word HOME.

  • Seating at the screening is not guaranteed and is available on a first come, first serve basis (since screenings are overbooked to ensure a full house) so if you get there with your printed pass earlier you can get fab seats. I recommend a minimum of an hour before.
