Get passes to an advanced screening of Paddington! (200 available) #Boston

BOSTON AND AROUND, NEWS | | December 4, 2014 at 1:15 pm

Paddington has been a bear I have grown up with. I’ve watched it as child and followed keenly on his adventures. The first time I went to London, I made a point of looking up Paddington and why yes of course I went to Paddington Station. I also got myself a pin and a little bear to mark my visit. My kids on the other hand have not been exposed to Paddington, I take full blame for that folly. I plan to rectify that but like everything I do, it will be on a grand scale. How nice of producer David Heyman to perfectly time a release of a movie at the time my kids are ripe for watching it.

The fact that Colin Firth is in it, is just icing on the cake. I have yet to come across a movie of his that I did not love. I have missed many movie screenings due to activities for the kids, but as fate would have it the timing of this screening works out perfectly. Nothing screams holiday season like having a beary good time with my cuddly family.

Paddington, by producer David Heyman of ala Harry Potter fame,  is being released on January 16, 2015.

More details about the movie

From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (HARRY POTTER), PADDINGTON tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

Now do you want to see it? Lucky for you I am giving away  passes to the screening! There are 200 available but will be snapped fast! You can download up to 4 if that is what you need.

  • You  must also have a Gofobo account (in that link I posted below) in order to get the passes but if you don’t have one already it’s free and really easy and quick to create one.
  • Seating at the screening is not guaranteed and is available on a first come, first serve basis (since screenings are overbooked to ensure a full house) so if you get there with your printed pass earlier you can get fab seats. I recommend a minimum of an hour before.
  • You can get up to 1 pass each, but you can download up to 4 (FOUR) (how amazing is that) – trust me they will go fast!
