My kids get out of school next week and I want to badly absorb as much of them as I can. I’m in love with this age and want to see everything. It is also why I am decreasing my workload but when Unilever approached with this new campaign, I said yes. The essence was exactly my focus with my kids so it made total sense.
Project Sunlight, is an initiative that tugs at my heart strings because I know what it is like to grow up without. As a mama, the message digs deeper as I feel distressed seeing any child in hunger. I’m a believer that we ALL make a difference and no change is too small.
What is their mission?
We believe there has never been a better time to create a better future for our children; a world where everyone has enough food to eat and no child goes to bed hungry.
I truly believe kids are smart, sensible and simple. If you ask them, they will tell you what they want. Check out this documentary video short.
When changes seem overwhelming and makes you want to do nothing, don’t! Every change matters! The link to Project Sunlight I placed above has some small ideas that can lead to a new way of thinking and actions. I will be posting soon about how we will be hosting our own Farmer’s Market. As someone who just signed up for her 1st CSA and 3rd year working on the veggie garden, this is so up my alley!
