Win screening passes to “Enough Said” And an amazing Makeover too! #BostonBOSTON AND AROUND, CONTESTS, REVIEWS & CONTESTS | Nirasha Jaganath | September 17, 2013 at 11:18 am
I know, I know! Movie buff in me is always excited about a movie itself. Screenings (the privilege to see it before it releases) send me over the edge and now I cram “makeover” in the heading… so much goodness to contain. But let me compose myself and start at the beginning. This is not a kiddie flick. This is your “me time” flick, hence us pairing up with one of the nicest salons in Newbury Street (for those not in the know Newbury Street is where all the fancy people shop) for a makeover for a reader. I KNOW!
All this excitement and I have not just shared the name of the movie. The movie stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus that woman alone can be reason enough to see the movie, but it also stars James Gandolfini in his final role. I KNOW! I told you this was major!. Ok, no more teasing here are the details. I will have a link to the place to get passes but also where you enter separately for the makeover.
About the movie Enough Said
A divorced and single parent, Eva (Julia Louis Dreyfus) spends her days enjoying work as a masseuse but dreading her daughter’s impending departure for college. She meets Albert (James Gandolfini) – a sweet, funny and like-minded man also facing an empty nest. As their romance quickly blossoms, Eva befriends Marianne (Catherine Keener), her new massage client. Marianne is a beautiful poet who seems “almost perfect” except for one prominent quality: she rags on her ex-husband way too much. Suddenly, Eva finds herself doubting her own relationship with Albert as she learns the truth about Marianne’s Ex. ENOUGH SAID is a sharp, insightful comedy that humorously explores the mess that often comes with getting involved again.
THE SCREENING PASSES
So I have VERY (VERY) limited passes for this movie. Since it is not a kiddie movie you are restricted to 2 passes instead of the regular 4 we normally do at Mommy Niri. We did it for 2 instead of 1 because I don’t know about you but a movie is always more fun when I have my bestie next to me, plus sharing popcorn is cheaper.
Date of screening: September 25th 2013
Time of screening: 7pm (but read details below – you need to come early for the seats).
Place of screening: Boston, MA
- You must also have a Gofobo account (in that link I posted below) in order to get the passes but if you don’t have one already it’s free and really easy and quick to create one.
- Seating at the screening is not guaranteed and is available on a first come, first serve basis (since screenings are overbooked to ensure a full house) so if you get there with your printed pass earlier you can get fab seats. I recommend a minimum of an hour before.
- You can get up to 2 passes each (how amazing is that) – trust me they will go fast!
- The link below is for the passes only, to enter the MAKEOVER contest, enter in the Rafflecopter widget below.
