Free Fun Fridays in Boston (and beyond)!

NEWS | | May 30, 2013 at 7:26 am

I wrote about this last year but had to write about them this year too. Highland Street Foundation has announced the 2013 Free Friday attractions that they will be sponsoring. 60 free museums and attractions will be part of the program with 6 free each friday!

I could not attend the launch meeting due to another prior event but here is more about this fabulous program:

The Highland Street Foundation provides grants to participating venues to cover the cost of opening their doors for free. TheHighland Street Foundation has invested $650,000 to support the Free Fun Fridays program this year.  This year, the program welcomes back favorite sites like the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Peabody Essex Museum, along with new venues, including The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Barrington and the Ocean Explorium in New Bedford.

I am pasting the complete list and the flyer below! Since most of us are mobile I would just save the picture below and access it anytime to see what is free or if you’re an organized person (unlike me) you can enter each of these in your calendar, which may be a smart way to keep it handy!
