Saying Goodbye to knots (and tears) – Thanks to Knot Genie Brush!PRODUCTS, REVIEWS & CONTESTS | Nirasha Jaganath | February 14, 2013 at 8:38 pm
I have 2 little girls. My little girls have big hair. It is beautiful but long. The thing they don’t show you in Tangled is that when you’re not looking Rapunzel is crying out in pain as she brushes her hair. My 5 year old tolerates it somewhat, which leads me to believe that she is a pure fashionsita who is willing to pay a price for her style. My 7 year old, on the other hand, lets me know how much she hates it. Very loudly! The fact that my kid deals with a whole lot of sensory issues does not help at all. Me? I have zero patience in the morning so I am probably not the gentlest.
We have tried other brushes that have promised less ouches but they helped too little. We have tried all those detangling sprays to no avail, and I was partially happy about that since I am no fan of dousing products on the hair. Then as I was checking out what’s new on Groupon, I found the Knot Genie with promises to get rid of knots and the tears. I honestly did not believe it and think I bought it just to prove it wrong. In fact I bought 2, one for each girl.
I fact when it arrived home I used it immediately on the cry baby girl, and not so gently too. Not. A. Sound! Seriously! I have absolutely no idea how it works but we have been using it for a few weeks and still no tears. You cannot imagine what a relief it is to start the morning without the tears. Although I purchased this myself I could not wait to share it with my readers in the hope of saving any of you sitting in my dilemma. I bought the full version but I see they have a smaller version on their site, but honestly the larger one works just fine.
If it saves you tears, come back and let me know!
