Free Tickets (100) To Advance Screening of Escape From Planet Earth 3D! #BostonCONTESTS, REVIEWS & CONTESTS | Nirasha Jaganath | January 30, 2013 at 5:59 pm
I’m going to make a confession. I hate contests. I do. The work entailed does not make it worth any traffic or time. And honestly in the past few years has cost me a lot of $$ too especially when mail gets lost. But the excitement a reader feels in winning makes it totally worth it. I have said this before but one of my favorite perks of blogging is seeing movies with my girls. I love them. I love them more than expensive gadgets because that experience of sitting with your family and creating a memory is priceless to me.
Well what would you say if I get to share that you (my amazing reader)? How about 100 of you? Now put that cup of coffee down and listen up: 100 tickets can go pretty fast, especially if they are to a fabulous show like this. What? I haven’t told you about the show yet? Ok, here goes:
The Weinstein Company’s ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH on Saturday, February 9, 11AM at AMC Boston Common
The 3D animated family comedy catapults moviegoers to planet Baab where admired astronaut Scorch Supernova (Brendan Fraser) is a national hero to the blue alien population. A master of daring rescues, Scorch pulls off astonishing feats with the quiet aid of his nerdy, by-the-rules brother, Gary (Rob Corddry), head of mission control at BASA. When BASA’s no-nonsense chief Lena (Jessica Alba) informs the brothers of an SOS from a notoriously dangerous planet, Scorch rejects Gary’s warnings and bounds off for yet another exciting mission. But when Scorch finds himself caught in a fiendish trap set by the evil Shanker (William Shatner) it’s up to scrawny, risk-adverse Gary to do the real rescuing. As the interplanetary stakes rise to new heights, Gary is left to save his brother, his planet, his beloved wife Kira (Sarah Jessica Parker) and their adventure hungry son Kip.
How do I get the tickets?
Click on this link to reserve your passes
- You must also have a Gofobo account (in that link I posted above) in order to get the passes but if you don’t have one already it’s free and really easy and quick to create one.
- Seating at the screening is not guaranteed and is available on a first come, first serve basis (since screenings are overbooked to ensure a full house) so if you get there with your printed pass earlier you can get fab seats.
- Each pass is for 4 people (how amazing is that)
The movie opens on Valentine’s Day but you my lucky readers get to watch it earlier than others. How’s that for sharing the love. Oh, and I’ll be there so maybe we will meet. Anyway I am super excited to watch this movie and have already rearranged my day for it. The voices behind the characters have me giddy excited. Seriously Sarah Jessica Parker? Come on, that alone would be a reason for me to go. Better yet this is excitement for the whole family.
So click on the link and reserve your passes. It should be pretty self explanatory!
Disclosure: I will be at the screening too and have been given the opportunity to distribute 100 passes to my readers for this advance screening!
