Have you seen Madagascar 3? I have! In fact I had not seen any of the others as my kids were slightly younger but we did watch this. With movies costing an arm and a leg I am pretty careful about my selection of movies. Madagascar 3 was one of those movies we decided to bite the crazy launch weekend dust and watch it. We did not regret the choice. The kids loved that they could recognize the songs or at least which ones they sounded like. The vibrant colors sold me as I love anything filled with colors, especially considering I hail from a tropical place.

And something very exciting is happening this weekend. There will be a very special event at The Stone Zoo this weekend. More about the event:
A Radio Disney hosted celebration of the Blu-ray (TM) and DVD debut of MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE’S MOST WANTED on Saturday, October 20th at the Stone Zoo. There will be music, dancing, games, activities, and more. The first 100 kids in line will receive a free rainbow wig, just like the one seen in the film!

After watching the 3D version of Madagascar on my Hopper I have to say that my favorite character is Marty. When he jumped out of my screen singing the afro circus song I thought I was going to die laughing and my daughter completely forgot about not getting a wig. This girl that works at DISH with me has it as her ring tone and it cracks me up every time I hear it.
