When I was in Buffalo, New York at the Fisher Price headquarters (I still have a post on that coming) I learned of the Apptivity iPad and iPhone cases. I was keen to learn more but since my kids are 5 and 7 years old I needed younger hands on them. So I decided to have a little get together with a few mom blogger friends and their little ones.
What I loved about these cases:
it could protect the screen from messes and drools.
it was rugged for falls and bumps.
it needed a coin to install, no screwdrivers etc needed
you can protect the “home” button so kiddo cannot get into another app
I loved watching the kids play and it seems the only thing they wished for more on the cases was for the device to be louder or attachment for speakers. The fact that Fisher Price also had several free (yay) apps was another bonus. I just loved seeing those little fingers move across the devices at ease. With these cases maybe moms can enjoy their coffee and feel confortable about baby playing with her device safely. We are grateful to Breugger’s Bagels for hosting the get together with wonderful food and drink. Special thanks to Fisher Price for providing these cases which the moms got to take home. Also the few remaining were donated to a therapy center which uses iPads with kids with Autism, Down Syndrome and other disabilities.
Here is a little video I made of the event.
