LoobaLee, A Site To Buy And Sell Used Children’s Clothing, For Free!CONTESTS, REVIEWS & CONTESTS | Nirasha Jaganath | March 16, 2012 at 8:03 am
If someone told me how expensive it was to have kids, I would have attributed most of the cost to be health costs etc but would never have imagined that clothing would cost an arm and a leg. Of course the fact that I have 2 adorable girls makes it even more difficult as clothing for girls are even more difficult to pass up. When there was a chance I would be having a girl, I stocked up of so many outfits. My office was right across the mall and I practically lived inside Baby Gap. Those clothes were pricey but if I watched (stalked) the store I normally found a bargain, though it was not easy.
Speaking about BabyGap, you can find that brand along with other famous brands at a site called LoobaLee. The site houses used children’s clothing that not only can you buy, but you can sell too. I know what you are thinking, that hey there are other places you can list clothing for purchase, but here is the kicker – you can list your clothes for free. Once upon a time we all lived with our relatives within reach and clothing went from one person to another, not only was it greener but cheaper too. Times have changed and I don’t know about you but it makes me feel a whole lot better spending on an outfit knowing I might reclaim some of it back when I sell it.
If you are in the know of the top quality brands then scanning through the selection you would recognize several of the names, and even Hannah Anderson, which is amazing quality but a little to pricey to splurge on often, but now if you opt for gently used ones you can get more clothing for the same buck.
Another reason to love LoobaLee? LoobaLee’s blog, called “The Conscious Kid’s Closet”, focuses on the environment which is after my green heart, err thumbs (you know what I mean). I also love that PayPal is the method of payment for sellers which is something most everyone uses and is pretty straightforward and, in my 12 years of using it, safe too. For purchasing you can select from all major payment options like Visa, Mastercard etc. Also you don’t have to be a hard-core seller to sell on LoobaLee. There are zero fees, which means no insertion fees, subscription fees, or end of sale commission fees, no hidden fees (such as picture fees or add-ons).
