While I slather away the lotions on my little girls I really neglect myself. During summer I somehow manage to get away with it but come winter and I am not so lucky. The harsh realities of winter begin to make itself seen as you start to see skin become super dry. While you crank the heat to stay toasty the humidity levels drop (I am learning this year to keep that in check) which means your skin becomes dry. When not taken care of, like mine, it begins to look awful. I normally carry little bottles of lotions in my bag, bottles I got as gifts or some hotel.
Trouble is with most of these lotions is that they are only effective for a short while, and only as long as I don’t wash my hands. So that means I re-apply often and the moment I hit the bathroom, which with having 2 little girls is often, it is off again. The fact that most malls have strong antibacterial soaps (very drying) means I can actually feel my skin on my hand tighten from dryness the moment the walk out the bathroom doors.
Effectiveness aside the perfume in them is something I really dislike. While many people seek fragrance out of their lotions I don’t. I prefer my scent to come exclusively from my perfume and normally shy away from purchasing scented lotions or soaps – I figure the mingling of several various scents will definitely not have a desired effect. The fact that just a drop of the Neutrogena® Norwegian Formula® Hand Lotion lasts the day yet still somehow managing to keep my skin looking good means I can just carry it around easily in my bag but honestly have not had the need need to reapply it. The non-existent scent is another winner for me. While it looks thick and you would assume it to be greasy, it absorbs easily without any glossy effects.
Now why on earth would I treat my skin so kind and forget about you guys? Of course I have something for my special readers.

my sister she gets very dry skin in the winter which causes her alot of stress & irritation.
i would give this to my youngest sister whose 19 and she has very dry skin .No matter what season it is her skin is dry.She would love to find a solution for her dry skin but she cant afford expensive lotions.
OMG…my hands are cracking as I type and I debate with myself whether to head back to the bathroom to reapply lotion before drifting off to sleep for the night. Your story is like my constant battle however you have found a cure and I am still reapplying! Suffice it to say I would give this care package to myself. My Mom because she has terribly dry skin and nothing ever works for her.
This is a tough one, but I would probably keep this for myself. I have terrible psoriasis and even with the medications I can’t ever find much relief. I use so many Neutrogena products already because they are so gentle for my skin. Having this gift package would be a wonderful gift to myself and my skin!

I would actually donate this to a mother in the nicu. My twins were in the NICU in Marxh and my hands are STILL in bad shape. They are so chapped between the washing everytime I went to see them, feed them, Chang their diapers, pumping… And I even had to wash between touching babies. When I got home I washed just a’s much. Now that they are older and I am not a strict about it, the cold season has hit. Nothing helped but baby center was actually doing a giveaway a couple of weeks back for a free bottle and a 4 for friends. I noticed a difference right away! They still have a little work.. But this stuff… Finally relief!!!!
We had to put my Mom in a nursing home this year after shr fell and broke her hip. Every sense she has been in the home, she has had very dry skin. I know she woukd love this set.
