Be Ahead This Holiday, Use An Address Stamper!

I thought about doing holiday cards but with my timing for everything it may end up after the holidays. Plus I realized that I wanted to feature something a little different still with keeping holiday cards in mind. ┬áNo doubt about it several families will be already plotting pictures in their heads for the perfect holiday card, but there is another part of the holiday greetings you may be forgetting. Either you have a bunch of those “free” address labels or are savvy enough to have ordered your own, you realize that you will be needing to address many an envelope. Now if, like me, your penmanship has come to suffer under all the use of the keyboarding you do then you may cringe to look at your writing. I certainly do.

This year I am ahead of the game as I will be using a Stampster from Invitation Consultants. Why? Because long after that fruit pie is hard enough to be a door stopper I will still have a self inking stamp with my address on it. Now even growing up I loved stamps, and sure they have become way more sophisticated than those messy ink pads but the personalization of it rocks just as it did back then. I recall, as a special treat for being the studious geek I was, getting a stamp with my name on it, and I stamped EVERYTHING. Ok, maybe a tad too much stamping and was told to hold back but the thrill of seeing my name on places was exciting.

Fast forward several years and I still love personalized stuff for my kids but I really did not think about using a stamp for my holiday cards. What I loved about the Stampster? It is pretty to look at, and before you “hey Niri it is a stamp, not flowers”, let me add that it really is designed aesthetically well and those bold colors of the stamp itself will blow out any ideas you have of those those old fuddy duddy stamps of the past. I love how the clear dome at the top allows you to see what the stamp would look like after it is used on paper. Ease of use is also what makes this stamp to be something you will use, even post holiday season. You just open and stamp. Done!

The fact that there are several holiday and non-holiday designs means that you can buy more than one, especially since they retail around $39.99. I love that the stamping is so crisp and clear, no smudging. Win 3 colors to choose from for the actual stamp and 5 for the ink, I think you will find one to meet your fancy. My favorite part of the Stampster? They are earth-friendly (no waste, litter, or chemicals involved in creation process) so you can sleep better knowing you are off-setting all that paper you will be stamping. I would have loved to show you images for the one I created but alas it has my home address and unless you want to send me flowers (that is the second reference to flowers in this post – sigh Winter is killing me this year), those details don’t help either of us. If I were you I would hurry to order your own, unless of course you love addressing those envelopes.
