Being A Ragu “Mom’s The Word On Dinner” Ambassador!

I am really proud to announce that I am a Ragu “Mom’s The Word On Dinner” Ambassador. These days I overly picky about the campaigns I join, and the decision has more than me thinking I am worth too much (that too) but more with me believing deeply in the message. I consider myself a decent cook, scratch that a good cook, but I have struggle with several issues with meals.

The conversation that this campaign spurns is an important one. One I need to share and learn from. As much as I cook meals, I also have been doing less than I hoped. The sheer overwhelmingness to make a meal always from scratch means that I end up giving up. Sadly I am an all or nothing girl – which is really not healthy. Now with my girls getting older and watching what they eat at lunch I clearly see how my little actions have impacted their choices.

It is time for me to take my focus back to food. Maybe blogging it along the way would help. Ragu is a wonderful brand and a smart one for understanding bloggers. There is no marketing or promotions but honestly just striking a conversation about dinner and having our family a part of it is the theme of the campaign. The fact that they have wonderful products obviously don’t hurt but discussing the bigger topic at hand shows a remarkable show of responsibility.

Along the way I will be discussing here and on the Ragu Facebook thoughts on the subject and dilemmas we all share.

While I am trying to find my way through this maze, I will be offering my readers something special too. So stay tuned or better yet subscribe.
