Gogo’s Crazy Bones Party!

Recently we got to have some friends over to explore the new craze Gogo Crazy Bones at a party. As gothic as that may sound it really is not. These little figurines are adorable, but not in the whole teddy bear way but a way that can be considered cool too. So my 2 girls got their classmates and friends together and had a free-play day of playing.

Gogo Bones brings back memories of card trading days when kids would die for certain ones and would trade cards and based on how much they wanted it might even up the stakes. Here there are little figurines with a variety so huge that I swear I did not see any two the same in the collection we opened, and just so you know we opened A LOT. So along with the figurine you get stickers which go in the book. The sticker book has some trivia and activities so it is not merely a sticker book.  The thing I loved  about it is that it feels like a continuous game since you can always order more stickers and books.

At times when budgets drive the decision to purchase toys you will be glad to know that in each pack of GoGo Crazy Bones there were 3 figurines and 3 stickers. Bargain, right? That is what I thought too. Another plus point? A variety of ages can play together, which normally is a challenge for my 4 year who does not always have the dexterity of my 6 year old, but she managed to hold her own. True the more complex games were a tad too much for her but even matching the stickers and the numbers in the books was enough to entertain her. I am a firm believer in free play with characters and not forcing a certain way and the kids seemed to love going with the flow.

Disclosure: We received samples to preview along with some to distribute at the party!
