Dora’s Garden Gazebo by Mega Bloks!

The fact that we’re a big fan of Dora is no surprise, but recently I thought we may be moving to other shows as my older (almost 6 year old) daughter grew older. Then she started Spanish class as part of the Global Child program and we found a new way to watch it as we noticed all the Spanish conversation. We recently got to explore the new Dora’s Garden Gazebo by Mega Bloks.

Building blocks have always been a winner in my home, especially with the freeplay they promote. The fact that both boys and girls are equally attracted is another plus point. I always worried about theme bits and pieces that they may detract from creative play but I have to admit my kids have always surprised me by still coming up with their own stories and pretend play. Sometimes even using those characters in ways that I can never understand.

The Dora figurine can also be broken down and though not super easy, it is still do-able. The good thing is that also means not coming apart too easy as well. The clothing she wears would need Dora to be “broken down” for it to fit so just hope that they don’t do that too often because there is a pretty good chance you would be roped in to help. My older daughter loves holding characters way beyond the play for their sensory stimulation and my younger one loves anything “girly”. I do wish though that sets would include more than one main character in them, this is true for most ones out there on the market.
