There are few movies that you really look forward to see, and with children in tow the options become slimmer. Add to the mix the need for quality cinema and seriously you would need a fine tooth comb to find something. It is sad that I have to admit I missed the screening to HOP, but happy to say I was at Disney World at the time. So come April 1st, which also happens to be my little girl’s birthday, we will be buying tickets to this movie.
The fact that this movie was made by the creators of Despicable Me was enough to sell me on the movie. A mixture of animation and live action, Hop is a comedy about E.B. (voiced by Russell Brand), who is the son of the Easter Bunny (yeah I never thought the Easter Bunny was old enough to have kids let alone a teenage one). Just like mos of us with family businesses who dread taking over (especially when we have our own plans) E.B. leaves for Hollywood in pursuit of his dream of becoming a drummer. There he meets Fred (James Marsden)by accident.He then tricks Fred into gaining shelter, and of course adds some hysterics with the whole living together.
I wish I could tell you more but I am dying to watch it too.
But while we both eagerly await to watch it, I managed to get some themed goodies and want to give some to you too.
