Fresh Produce – Clothes You Would Wear To Impress Your Girlfriend (Giveaway)!

Something which many guys delude themselves into believing is that we dress for to impress guys. While that may be true on occasion, women often dress with their girlfriends in mind. Wondering what the girlfriends would have to say about their outfit and giving much more weight to that opinion. So when the timing of a review of clothing coincided with my best friend visit from Seattle I was in fashion heaven. I chose a cardigan style I have been ogling for a while on all of my fashion forward friends – yet too shy to try out myself.
So when I got the opportunity to choose something from the Fresh Produce clothing site to try on, of course I raced to the cardigan but held myself back from getting the white, oyster (grey), or black – although they looked great – they were also the colors I normally opt for. This mama was going fashionista all the way – so I chose the bright Sangria color. I mean if I wanted people to start noticing – I better make it easier for them.
I already had my favorite pair of jeans on so I threw on a white tank top (which the kind folks from Fresh Produce) also sent me and then I coupled it with that beautiful cardigan. The lovely thing about that tank top is that you could totally layer it for a cool look for all seasons. Now about that cardigan - one word FABULOUS! Over a casual dress, with a skirt, formal pants or even a jeans – talk about a true multi-tasker. Now as much as I like having to look fabulous, I am not into high maintenance clothing, in fact the glittery outfit I just wore this weekend is still strewn across the dresser. I am not a fan of clothing much attention and I do believe ironing is highly overrated. The clothing I received were soft and comfortable – I have not put it into the washer yet so I have no idea how it will hold up, but I am betting it will do fine as there seems to be nothing delicate about it.
You know I feature many things for kids on this blog and when I got the chance to try something for me this mama felt like she deserved it. Then I learned the kind folks at Fresh Produce (I even love the name) wanted to send something over for one of my readers – I felt like you deserved it too. You know you do!

So back to me – my girlfriend loved my look – and I loved that she loved it. So along with her mom, and the two of us we hit the spa to get a pedicure. I was comfortable and feeling confident that I was looking good. It will be one of those things that I grab to smarten up a simple outfit. So yeah, I look nothing like those models, but then again – that is me with no makeup, hair still wet from shower and no shapewear on. Still fabulous, right (the clothing not me)?

I like the Convertible Gauze Skirt/Dress in Oyster. It’s cute and looks like it could be dressed up or down.
I really like the idea of dressing for me and for comfort. I tend not to have friends — male or female — with super-conventional senses of style, so if I tried to dress for any of them, the rest would be disappointed. So I dress for me, and then the only one who needs to be satisfied is completely satisfied.
My favorite items on their site are the plus-size take-it-easy tunic, and the essential cardigan.
