Healthy Habits Kitchen Dishes Out Delicious Meals!NEWS | Nirasha Jaganath | October 19, 2010 at 8:57 pm
It was a few months ago I came across the Healthy Habits Kitchen. I know it has taken a while to get this up but I loved this whole concept and I felt I had to share it with you all. Picture this: a company which believes so strongly about families eating healthy at home that they simplified it until the finer details. Well, with a few important differences. They keep it all fresh. They keep it tasty. They keep it healthy. The best part is they keep it fun.
Basic meal are kept fresh. Fresh produce complemented by ingredients you actually know. They keep it simple so you can see and control the flavors. They clearly have created gourmet meals and worked backwards to make sure you have everything to recreate it in your home. On each box they have the proper directions to assist you to ensure perfect results. As I stepped into their kitchen it was very apparent that here were people dedicated to the concept of keeping it healthy and yet allowing people to recreate it like an easy puzzle. As much I love shopping, I hate waste and spoilage so this prevents this. I get excited when I shop and buy loads of fresh vegetables – more than I can cook in time or require more time than I can afford.
The kitchen was clean, well stocked and made you feel like you would like to whip up a meal. Speaking of whipping up a meal, Healthy Habits Kitchen allows you to do just that. Running short on time you can order them pre-packed and ready to cook at home, otherwise you can book time to actually assemble the meal yourself. By doing this you save some bucks and you have some fun in the process.
Speaking about fun, can you envision a group of friends all around sipping wine and packing meals – saving you time for the week/s ahead and taking full pride that it was a meal not dealt to you through the fast food drive thru. Well, the smart folks over at Healthy Habits Kitchen knew that this would happen and actually arrange group parties – so you can have a party there as you assemble meals – hence them having a lounge alongside the kitchen.
I have yet to savor the delights of this place, and thankfully they have a few vegetarian options but I am going to make a point to frequent them. There is so much that Healthy Habits Kitchen is doing to promote healthy living like holding workshops and summer kid’s classes.
