Congratulations Amy – Tea Tray Cart And Meghan – Singing Belle Doll!

You know our home has been all aflutter with the release of Beauty And The Beast, especially with my daughter who actually calls herself Belle (any guesses what she will be for Halloween?)  so this review has been so very exciting. As you would believe I have seen the movie so many times I can probably spew out most of the dialog. While I love the movie – I may need a break from it. Toys inspired from Beauty And The Beast though are a more than welcome addition.

The Singing Belle is part of the new series of singing princesses. You hold Belle’s hand and she sings “Something There,” her famous song (Susan Egan’s voice…voice of Belle). A tad embarrassed to admit that it is my favorite song too. Somehow it amazes my that a Disney song holds so much of emotion. The doll is dressed as elegant as you would expect Belle to be. If your little one has another favorite princess she would be glad to know there is a whole range of singing princesses –  Ariel-Jodi Benson sings “Part of Your World; Aurora-Kim Huber sings “Once Upon a Dream; Cinderella-Susie Stevens sings “A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes”; Jasmine-Lea Salongs sings “ A Whole New World”; Rapunzel-Mandy Moore sings “When will my life Begin”; Tiana-Anika Noni Rose sings “Almost There”

With all the annoying sounds coming from electronic toys it is quite refreshing to see sweet voice come out of a toy. In fact at first the voice is so real it actually surprises you. While I was at The Disney Store they had not yet had them in stock but mentioned how many anxious requests they had for it already. Easy to see that this will be a popular gift this holiday.

Belle’s Enchanted Tea Cart and Tea Set

This tea tray comes with a tea set but not just any tea set, an enchanted one. This set includes the beloved characters Mrs. Potts and Chip. Funny thing is hubby, uneducated about the little details in the Disney movies, mentioned to my daughter that a teacup was broken. Needless to say she laughed as she informed him that it was supposed to be like that.  I love pretend play, any pretend play. I love having even my 3 year old walk up to ask me how I like my tea. I was a bit skeptical when I saw it all plastic – wondered if moving it around would be as smooth as I hoped, and it was.

Each of these toys retail at $29.99 and are exclusive to Disney Store and

Would you like to win one of these toys? There will be 2 winners, one for each of the prizes – 1st person selected gets choice of toy.
