Back to School? I honestly saw “win Kleenex” and wanted to win for my husband! He’s not going back to school, but I swear we should buy stock on Kleenex since he uses so much. Daily. But I want to win so much, I will play along. My back-to-school tip is to get a non-branded lunch box. Get something that will never get old like flowers or even a solid color!
Buy everything in advance! You also could buy what you need two or three items pro purchase every time you go shopping, so it would be not so”killing” for budget.
my tip is buy extras of things such as glue, crayons, paper to last through the whole year and if project board is on sale in your area go grab it up now for science fair projects etc
I take my elementary school age son to school a week to two before hand to see his new classroom and meet his new teacher to help ease the stress of the first day.
Always make sure to have easy and nutritious breakfasts on hand. I like to juice fruit and veggies like carrots with apples with a banana. It’s easy to have on hand and tastes great!

I want to win as I am a teacher and this would come in handy. My tip would be to begin going to bed earlier and earlier so you will be well rested for that first day. Get on a bedtime schedule.
I always buy school supplies first thing in the summer, there are so mny deals!
I would recommend for children that are nervous about going back to school, to walk them around inside the school (with permission)about a week before school starts. Let them see their class, where the bathrooms are, the library, cafeteria, all the places they will go to. It can relieve anxiety in them to actually see where they will be.

My daughter is almost 12 and we have very different opinions about bedtime. How much sleep does a tween need?
My tip is to buy plenty of supplies to last the whole year right away when they are on sale for cheap!

We homeschool, so I don’t really have any back-to-school tips to share.
Go to Staples…they have one-dollar and 1-cent deals for a lot of basic school supplies.

My back to school tip is: Keep a binder at home with each child’s name on it to use for any teacher notes or field trip forms etc Also keep the binder in either the kitchen or living room near the door to help cut down on the last minute rush to find misplaced teacher notes or field trip forms You can also keep a pencil case in it to keep a week’s worth of lunch money or hand wipes for the lunch box

All I can suggest is to make a list , buy what you need early, and prepare your children for school by talking with them and asking if they have any concerns.
Oh my gosh! My brain is not working! I could have saved that first comment.
OK, I am a subscriber. A confused one, but still a subscriber. Yikes!

My tip would be to use the remaining summer months for lesson reviews. The library is a great place to get the kids back into the habit of reading and they usually book-club have programs running all year round.

I’ll donate them all to my son’s kindergarten class on behalf of MommyNiri.com!
Some back to school tips, paper bags can be good book covers and are cheaper than buying one; also assignment notebooks are really helpful but a big book mark, I used a giant paper clip can make it even easier to keep track.
Back to school tip: Keep a mini bottle of hand sanitizer in your pocket and use it often to help prevent the “back to school cold” that always goes around the first month or two after school starts back.

Back to school tip: Dont stress and remain calm
It is sort of a tip, but I always buy the little to go Kleenix packages and slip one in each bag or backpack so there are always available.
I catch the early sales and stock up. We are digging the flash cards out and brushing up on our math skills.

Our back to school students are all in college, so most of the tips would be a little out of place for them. But we did get the book lists and pick up most of the texts needed either from my book swap site or from Amazon–saved about half of the estimated used book cost from the college bookstore.
