Win “Giada at Home” Cook Book and Food Network CD
CONTESTS | Nirasha Jaganath | May 24, 2010 at 9:02 pm
CONTEST CLOSED!
Congratulations Amy!
The countdown to the next food network star is already underway (12 days to go and counting). This is one contest that is always a tough one as you win your own show. It is about cooking, cooking well, cooking with style but most important cooking with your own style.
The line up looks vibrant and quite diverse so this is going to be exciting to watch. Not sure about you but I am a Food Network addict. I mean it. So seeing contestants chase their dream to have their own show is sure to bring out the good and bad. Look cooking on its own is tough, add the pressure of the prize and you got a pressure cooker full of emotions. There is sure to be some tears in the mix and seeing the human element will endear us to the next person we will soon be calling “Food Network Star“
In celebration of the show Mommy Niri has something for you.

I’m going to say that Giada is my favorite host. Sometimes when we get home from school, my five-year-old watches the show and “writes” out the recipes as she watched Giada cook. It’s funny!
Except for Twitter, I’m your friend on all of the above
I love the Barefoot Contessa. Her food might not always be stuff my kids would love….but it always looks so yummy – real comfort food! I’m a FB fan, follow your blog on FB and follow you on Twitter. About to go follow your blog on my blogger and post this to my FB wall.
I really like Alton Brown. I have made several of his recipes and they have come out really good.

I love Giada and the Barefoot Contessa. We have tried recipes from both shows and love them. We also love Guy Fieri’s Diners, Driveins and Dives.

Love Barefoot Contessa – Ina is great & Giada also. Just subscribed by email. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love Ina Garten, too. Her recipes are always thorough and not rushed. Barefoot Contessa is so laid back, that it makes it inviting. Tyler’s Ultimate would be my second.

My favorite is Alton Brown. I like the way explains the origins of the foods why the recipes work.
My 2 year old grandson is a Giada fan. We have to record her show and he watches it everyday before he takes a nap. When it’s his nap time he always asks “What’s Giada cooking today?” Last week one of the shows had her husband on it. My grandsons reaction was “No like that man.” LOL! It’s must be his Italian side coming out!
