Win A Kid’s Vegetable Growing Kit From Terracycle!
CONTESTS | Mommy Niri | April 19, 2010 at 9:22 pm
CONTEST CLOSED!
Congratulations Tara!
Eating healthy starts from kids knowing where their food comes from. If you are constantly feeding your kid processed food it would be difficult for her to fathom the important nutrition that comes from fresh fruit and vegetable. Seeing a plant grow from scratch is magic in its own right. Now club that with the recycled products from Terracycle and you have a winning combination. Just a look at any of the products and you can see what they were in a former life. More amazing news is that during April Walmart will be carrying some of their products. Now that makes recycled products accessible to all.
I have been sick of all the plastic crap that we get in goodie bags so last year I gave each kid a mini pot with seed and sod kit. My kid’s party is coming soon so I would love to figure out something similar for them again this year. But in the meantime would you like to win this kit?

I would love this for my 4 year old. She does eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but it would be so cool to let her see it from the beginning. We tried to do a vegetable garden last year outside with no success.

I’d like to give the vegetable kit to a family across the street from me. Every year the kids come to my house and help me with my small veggie garden and like learning about different vegetable plants. This would be a great opportunity for them to learn about growing from scratch and starting their own garden. Thanks.

I would give it to my granddaughter. She is very interested in nature and what a great way for her to get involved with the growing process.

Finally a garden where we would not have to worry about outside pests! We have tried gardens for the last few years but without much success. A garden that the children enjoy.
Thank you for the entry!
