Win Plum Organic’s Toddler Snacks!
CONTESTS, REVIEWS, REVIEWS & CONTESTS | Mommy Niri | January 22, 2010 at 5:35 pmCongratulations Sarah!
While I attended a Blogger’s Brunch in New York I met up with the guys from Plum Organics. When they contacted me to try their Plum Tots line aimed at toddlers I was honestly skeptical. You see while I believe anything organic is worth a look things marked baby foodlike don’t go down easily with my sensory specific kids. They would eat a banana or apple just not mashed etc. Actually my kids may be the only ones I know who won’t eat applesauce but will an entire apple. I did notice there were some finger snacks in the range and opted to give them a try.
The day it arrived was also the day I was going to babysit my friend’s 1 year old daughter. So with a 1 year old, 2 year old and 4 year old getting antsy after playing with their dolls I sat them down for a snack and served this up to all of them (I chose not to serve up the strawberry one since the 1 year old may have allergies) . I expected my kids to moan and groan and was mentally trying to think of a backup snack when I notice all three of them wipe up the snacks. I don’t know if the girls were hungry, copying each other or the snacks were just so darn good but I was amazed. I did try other flavors later and was treated to repeat performances.
There is something about healthy organic snacks that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside to serve up to the kids. It is like whatever I feel guilty about before I can assured that they are getting great food served up. These snacks are great for road trips too, and though a trifle more expensive than your regular snacks, well worth the investment. It is not often I say it but this will be a snack I will be stocking up on.
These guys at Plum Tots really believe in the mission of organic food, and they hope you will too by taking the Generation OrganicTM pledge . The toddler snacks are available at Whole Foods Market and Babies R Us locations + online at Diapers.com, Drugstore.com, Target.com, Amazon.com

Bananas! He can go through one so fast we have to be careful he doesn’t bite off too big a piece, and he only has 4 teeth so far–is working on 4 more right now. That does make him a little cranky though.
My kids love the always in season strawberry. I feel so guilty buying them in January.
