Now That Santa Is Gone, Who Will I Use?

Now That Santa Is Gone, Who Will I Use?

Santa's Naughty List“Am I on the naughty list or the nice list?” It’s amazing how much of an influence the naughty list has on kids. I have been using (read abusing) the naughty or the nice list concept for over a month and it has been working like a charm. Every night when I put the kids to bed I would tell them that Papa has a phone call with Santa after they sleep and that Santa is going to tell which kids are on the nice list (threats bribes work). In the morning the kids would ask me – “Am I on the naughty list or the nice list?” and I would gleefully give an answer to suit the situation. I have been building the hype for whole month that Santa would make the final list by Christmas. Both the girls worked hard, month long, not to be on the naughty list. When we finally opened the letter from Santa on the Christmas day both the girls were smiling ear to ear being on the nice list.

I wonder if the Easter bunny has a naughty list?

How about using the Valentine’s Day Cupid and the St. Patrick’s Day leprechaun also? It might work!

Wow – Santa was a great way to keep the kids in “check”….we can always say to the kids that Santa is watching you. Hope that works!

I think we’re suppose to use the naughty list thing all year round.. cause santas suppose to know if uve been naughty or nice ALL YEAR… but unfortunately, if we did use it all year… kids would get bored… and it would not be affective. lol

Let me know if you find anything else to use :)
