When the guys at Sports Authority contacted me about doing a giveaway of the Wii Fit Plus Board and Jillian Michael’s New Wii Game, I thought how ironic since I had just come back from the EA Sports Active More Workouts tour in Boston earlier in the day (I am giving one away too).
Sports Authority is teaming up with Nintendo to create a new way to experience fitness gaming. In order allow people to feel the total experience they are are holding a special event in Los Angeles where you can win several prizes, including the ones offered by Mommy Niri. Also Jillian Michaels herself will be in attendance, and speaking from meeting her in New York at the of the Jillian Michael’s Ultimate Fitness 2010 Wii launch, you can’t miss getting tips from the mistress of fitness herself. Sports Authority store in Torrance (located at 3610 Torrance Blvd.), CA (just outside of Los Angeles, CA)
Event starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs until mid-day

The winner gets Wii Fit Plus Board and Jillian Michael’s New Wii Game – Ultimate Fitness 2010! I actually liked reading the Papa posts the best- I wasnt aware about keywords and such as usually I just stumble around on the web and one thing leads to another- something is interesting I start clicking! Born and raised in the UK, I now live in the USA. I am far from home, especially around the Holidays, just like you.
I have my parents only Grandchildren.
I am an only child.
I miss the feeling of complete family. I miss seeing my kids interact with their grandparents, getting spoiled rotten, and sharing secret whispers about things Mum’s and Dad’s are not allowed to know, only Nana and Papa.
I miss British holiday food, TV shows — who doesnt love Only Fools and Horses come Christmas time? I miss shopping in the downtown streets and all the twinkling lights, because yes, a British Fairy Light does look different from an American one, believe it or not.
I miss home terribly, and especially around the holiday season, so I empathise with how you feel. Maybe one day we will BOTH get to go home for the holidays and see the things we miss.

I like the Mommy Niri Surprises Yet Another Teacher With Office Supplies #omx because i’d love for that to happen to my kids.
My favorite post was “Five reasons why I wont get the mother of the year award”. It made me feel SO much better about our days spent in our PJ’s. (I call them mental health days) I think its really important for women to know that parenting imperfections make you a better parent. You seem to understand and capture that VERY well. I look foward to your posts!
BTW… I would love this Wii fit, it would give me a reason to finally excersise in my PJ’s.. LOL. Its also a great way to get some physical activities in my home for winter time, rather than watching double the amount of television! (Which for some reason seems to happen every winter as much as we try not to!)

I like the Papa posts – Balloon Delivery one! Oh yes, I remember the trauma when we lost the first balloon!
My favorite post was: A Visit To The Ford Assembly Plant! Tales Of Sync, MyKey, Parking Assist And The Ford Taurus 2010! I have Sync and love it and I had heard of Parking Assist though I didn’t know how it actually worked, great review. I was not familiar with MyKey at all, but with 2 teenage boys I was very intrigued and have been seriously looking into this feature before my next Ford purchase. Thanks!

My favorite post of yours was from October 19th entitled: My Dear Blogger Friends, Be Nice.” There are a few reasons this post is my favorite. First, I think you chose the perfect picture to accompany the post. How cute is she? Also, the sentiment of this post is a great one because it reminds us blogger why we started blogging to begin with. It also let us know that the competitiveness and cattiness, and down right ugliness is unnecessary and nonproductive. Although I haven’t left any ugly comments on any blogs, I now think really hard before I press “publish comment” on someone’s blog.

I have 4 children now and I remember how everything went from me freaking out to chilling out a little more with each one. I think it is so great that you come from a set of 5 sisters. My favorite post is the Just When The Phone Rings… My kids are older know so I can laugh about it now but my daughter would always interrupt or get into trouble when I was on the phone! Back when I was a SAHM, my working sis would call during her lunch hour to chat. Inevitably I would end up yelling at the kids to stop interrupting me so I would have a conversation with her. Funny how things change because now I’m the working mom and she is a SAHM and I get to listen to her try to have a phone conversation!
