In this comedy sequel Ben Stiller stars as Larry Daley. Larry’s nocturnal friends are being retired to the archives of the Smithsonian Institution, luring him back for a hilarious, all-out battle against an Egyptian Pharaoh who plans to take over the museum… and the world! Directed by Shawn Levy, the film also stars Amy Adams (Enchanted), Robin Williams (Good Will Hunting), Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers), Hank Azaria (“The Simpsons”), and Ricky Gervais (“The Office”).

Our favorite local museums are the Museum of Science and the Aquarium, but I would have to say the Smithsonian Museums in DC are our all time favorites (especially the Museum of American History).

My son and I LOVE the night at the Museum movies! I am a huge history buff, and it seems to have rubbed off on hime as well! The movie is a great way to teach him about important people and events in history!

The museum nearest and dearest to my heart is the McKinley Museum in Canton, Ohio. It’s what made me want to be a museum curator! The exhibits there are fascinating and interactive, and I still love to visit when I can. Even though I live near D.C. and all of the amazing museums here, I have a soft spot for McKinley.

The Musuem of Modern Art in NYC is my favorite.
The Holocaust museum in DC is amazing. You are given the identity of someone that lived through the holocaust, and as you move through the museum, you slowly learn things about the person. It’s fascinating.

The Air and Space Museum is by far my favorite.
