EA Sports Active Team Hits Boston (Win EA Sports Active More Workouts for Wii)

CONTEST CLOSED!!!

Congratulations Daniel!

Today I stopped by the makeshift location of the EA Sports Active team while they are in Boston promoting their latest offering “More Workouts”. I guess calling it makeshift is a poor choice of words considering the location is on the upscale Newbury Street in Boston. Boston is one of 2 places they are holding a month long location. Here you can try out the EA Sports Active More Workouts, which actually releases tomorrow, and get this – actually take it home for 3 days (yup – library like) to try it out.

I personally think what an amazing concept, games, even exercise games are a bit pricey to just keep buying every one that comes out. This way you can actually try to see if this is what works for you.  On a personal note, I love that that the games these days are getting us off our butt and not just get us moving but more likely keep us moving. No gym fees, no wasting time in getting there, traffic etc. Now you exercise where and when you want. The earlier EA Sports Active release had a 30 day challenge, here there is a more intense 6 week program. I think this is just what I need to get this body into shape. SO watch out from November 20th, which is when the program starts, where I will be keeping you posted on twitter and the fanpage about my progress.

I am new to the Wii so I am still getting used to the exercise routine but I love that I can build it around me. I am also now (clearly) aware how this thing REALLY gives you a good workout.  Stay tuned for my reviews during the challenge. You can win a copy of the EA Sports Active: More Workouts for Wii for yourself. In the meantime if you live near Boston or San Francisco then be sure to check out their locations until December 14th.

Locations: 39 Stockton Street, in San Francisco and at 156 Newbury Street in Boston. You can try out the product, take it home for a few days and even enter the chance to win a Vespa. How ridiculously cool is that?

Want to win the EA Sports Active More Workouts for Wii? To enter tell me what do you do to keep fit in Winter. Make sure that you enter the correct contact details. Contest closes 29th November 2009.
