In my home with a 4 year old and a 2 year old there are few toys which can appease both ages and still allow them to play in the complexity of their levels. Leggos and Potato Head are just a few favorite toys and with the imagination the play is limitless. I was glad to receive a free sample of Potato Head, ala Halloween style, which the kids were very excited about.
What I love about Potato Head is the mix-and-match option and of course the fine motor skills are an added bonus. We just received the Spooky Potato Head today and the kids loved it. Potato body comes with ghost costume, a pair of glow-in-the-dark eyes, shoes, two vampire ears, two arms, a set of fangs, nose, pumpkin basket and hat. The guys also offered to send one of my readers one as well but to make it more fun they are adding a bag of Halloween Play-Doh. Last year we gave these treat size packs in the themed colors at a Halloween party and they were a super hit. You can never have too much Play-Doh, right?

I like the spiderman and friends one. My most favorite one though was a set my siblings and I had. The shoes were separate and not stuck together like a lot of the newer ones. All the pieces would stay on really good and we even had a pipe to go with it. It had glasses and a top hat and everything.

Having never had a Potato Head as a child, my son has a few. The original is always a fave but I love the little extra outfits you can buy now too. He got the snowman and Santa ones last year in his stocking. He also got the Easter Bunny potatohead for Easter one year. I guess we’re fans of the Holiday Potatoes.

The ghost Mr. Potato head is adorable. My grandson had a Spiderman Mr. Potato Head that was pretty neat. The only ones they had when I was younger were the original.
I always liked Mrs. Potato head with her purse and lovely accessories.
I love the ghost, but my current favorite is the R2D2 potato!
I loved Mrs Potato Head, her plastic purse, big eye lashes and big pink lips. She was my fav because she had better accessories then Mr. Potato

I always liked Mrs. Potato Head the most.
My husband and son love to watch Star Wars together, so Darth Tater has a place of honor on my son’s dresser.

I’m all about the original Mr Potato Head – I took one to college with me, and he kind of became our room mascot. He went on a lot of journeys.

I love the Artoo-Potatoo! They did a great job keeping it like R2D2, but still adding the Mr Potato Head parts and expressions!
Mrs. Potato Head was my potato head, my sister got the Mr. Potato Head as a kid and was mad that she got the man and not the lady, so she threw hers at me and gave me a black eye. We traded after that, because I didn’t want no more black eyes. Yet, she did end up giving me a few more, once when she threw her baby doll at me when I got a Barbie Doll. Ahh well, sibling rivalry.

The Potato Head characters are classics. They will never go out of style. That being said, I like the Classic version. Simple and perfect.
