Benjamin Moore Natura PaintNEWS | Nirasha Jaganath | October 25, 2009 at 9:07 pm
While Mommy Niri was away, I was holding down the fort. In came the opportunity to see Benjamin Moore’s Natura Paint at the Natick Mall. So, I decided to cover the event for Mommy Niri with a borrowed camera and leaving the kids with my friend. Well, it was one of those booths at the mall that I would have normally passed by without noticing but since I was looking for Benjamin Moore I found it. Unlike the booth, the sample pack was impressive. As the sample paint was too small I did not bother painting since I figure my kids have done enough on the wall.
The friendly rep at the booth introduced me to their newly released environment friendly paint products, Natura premium. It is marketed as interior waterborne paint – A zero VOC and virtually odorless formula. Since I am no chemist I can’t tell my readers anything about VOC, so I googled VOC (Volatile Organic Compound), however, I did verify that the paint odor is virtually zero – that would be great for painting kid’s room. Its pretty difficult imagining paint when you think of natural living but this step in a greener direction is one in the right direction. It is great to see even stores like Pottery Barn embrace Benjamin Moore’s Natura Paint.
