There are so many great children’s songs, but one of my favorites is “Shake Your Sillies Out”. I know Raffi and the Wiggles both have sung it – it gets the kids (and me!) moving!

MY fav song is, and I know people will groan is “I love you, you love me” by Barney. My kids have always thought it was a great song, it was easy for them to learn and sing, and it really sncompasses everything about a child loving his/her family and a family’s love for the child.

We also are partial to anything by the wiggles. Music is such a great thing and helps development kids minds. It is also a wonderful math aid.

My 16 yr old plays clarinet and just earned 1st chair in the Bangor Symphonic Youth Orchestra. It was a very proud moment. Lets hope her 4 yr old and 2yr old brother follow suit : )

Woo hoo! Kid’s music. Now we’re talking. How about ANY Dan Zanes CD? Laurie Berkner? They Might Be Giants have 2 very clever kids albums. We love the Putamayo Kids CDs, blah, blah, blah. I could go on and on. But, a (re)current fave at our house right now is “The Hoppity Song” by John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting on the “For the Kids” charity CD. GREAT disc.
