Dress The Homeless And Feel Good With Lands’ End

NEWS | | September 14, 2009 at 9:40 pm

While at BlogHer the Lands’ End team offered to send us a FeelGood sweater shipped to our home. At the time I was just appreciative of one more swag item I would not have to tote, but when it arrived home I was amazed at how soft it was. Now, with the purchase of every FeelGood Sweater, Lands’ End is helping many families stay warm. With their FeelGood campaign, Lands’ End will donate FeelGood yarn to One Heart Foundation’s Warming Families, a nationwide charity that knits clothing for the homeless. With the yarn donated, Warming Families will be able to knit as many as 25,000 hats for families around the country.

For every blog post written about the collection until September 16th they will donate a cone of FeelGood yarn to volunteer knitters at Warming Families.  One cone of FeelGood yarn is enough to make 28 hats to be donated to homeless individuals in communities across the country. There, Mommy Niri has done her part, and if you have a blog this is such a worthy post.

Help Lands’ End keep families warm this winter.
