Go On, Tell Ford What Women Want!EVENTS, PARENTING | Nirasha Jaganath | July 19, 2009 at 9:01 pm
Well hold back on asking for a contraption for folding laundry or emptying the dishwasher, I don’t think Ford is equipped yet (but I guess it won’t hurt to ask, right?), but let us focus on cars. Wondering why on earth you should bother telling me? Well Mommy Niri got accepted into the Ford Ride and Drive Program at BlogHer and Ford would love to find out What Women Want. It would be a tad hasty to leave my readers out of the equation so here I would love to gather your thoughts and questions about what you would love to see in the car. You can certainly help Ford figure out What Women Want.
Don’t your think that I would waste your time with this request as I will be meeting with the Ford team next Thursday and sharing this with them and more importantly Scott Monty, Ford’s Global Digital and Multimedia Communications Manager. Mommy Niri, alot with other Mommy Bloggers, is going to experience first-hand features at the assembly plant in Chicago. We get to see the 2010 Ford Taurus and also test their new Active Park Assist system that helps drivers parallel park simply by touching a button and letting go of the steering wheel.
One of my best features is MyKey is a new Ford safety technology – launching this summer as standard equipment on the 2010 Focus, Taurus and other popular models – that allows owners to program a key that can limit the vehicle’s top speed and audio volume to encourage teens to drive safer.
If you want to follow the whole event on twitter then follow the #fordblogher hashtag. Ok, confession time. This will be my first time driving a Ford and I am pretty excited. I have never driven a Ford in my life. So I wonder if this visit will be enough to convince me to change.
Mommy Niri is still mulling over what she wants but since she gets to meet the Ford team herself she will get to relay it. I want to make sure I don’t miss getting your input to them. So leave a comment to let Mommy Niri and Ford know What Women Want!
