i hate changing season. there are kids clothes all over the house for days on end: piles of last season’s clothes that don’t fit, piles of last season’s clothes that might still fit the next time we have weather like this, piles of the new season’s clothes that we’re definitely going to use, piles of the new season’s clothes that we might use, and (thank GOD, we love hand-me-downs), the piles of hand-me-downs dropped off by the people who made their piles before I did…and got them out of their house (and into mine).

I lived in Boston for 2 years while at business school but never stayed there in the summer — I remember it as being quite humid but I don’t remember much rain!
