BlogHer conferences are known for being drastically different to technology conferences in that there is a relaxed atmosphere of inclusion. Here everyone wants to make connection with everyone. Well if you think the conferences are fun, wait until you hear the big party line ups. Now companies strategically place themselves with parties to gain some publicity but one party invitation stood out.

With the alarming statistics stating that 1 in 150 people is autistic it is certainly time that Autism become a bigger focus. I covered several articles in April (April was Autistic Month) like Meet A Mama To An Autistic Boy to Games For Autistic Children among others features. I am certainly proud to be part of the blogging sphere with a group of bloggers that understand and support the cause.

The BowlHer Party has a link to donate to Autism Speaks. I was touched that the organizers (One2OneNetwork, GNO and CollectiveBias) chose to associate with this wonderful cause. In the whole euphoria of the partying it is good to know that charitable causes still manage to float to the top.
