Russ Cox -The artist behind Mommy Niri logoPRODUCTS, REVIEWS | Nirasha Jaganath | June 2, 2009 at 3:09 am
Thanks to LinkedIn that I found Russ Cox, the wonderful artist behind Mommy Niri logo. As I was looking at various artists, the moment I came across Russ’s site, I immediately knew that I want to work with him. His portfolio contained colorful, lively and vibrant images that I did not see anywhere else.
Russ, a wonderful artist from Maine, has been illustrating and designing for 25 years and the last 12 with his own studio, Smiling Otis Studio. His clients include McDonalds, AOL, NASA, Kelloggs, Crayola and many more.
Russ penciled several concepts on paper and asked me to pick one. Once I picked the concept, Russ added color and life to the Mommy Niri caricature that ended up as the logo on my site. Not only on the site, I use the logo on my business cards. When I showed the logo to my kids – ages 2 and 4, they instantly knew it was mama. I guess that was the toughest test for Russ and he came out with flying colors. Thank you Russ!
