I could not believe what we have been putting in our mouth for so many years until Natural Toothpaste and Rinse came out. With no artificial dyes, bleach, alcohol, and harsh chemicals, I hope our teeth would last longer. Did you notice bleach? Now, you know why we get holes in our teeth.

I have tried Tom’s of Maine’s toothpaste (a fabulous product) but found the peppermint was just too strong. However, The Natural Dentist, natural toothpaste was on the lighter side.     I live for all-natural products! Current conventional products are full of man-made chemicals. Recently over 80,000 new chemicals have been introduced to our bodies through products and very few of them have been tested for toxicity. Even scarier, is the idea that these chemicals work together in our bodies to do even more damage.

    Here’s a healthy, inexpensive healthy tip: Add cooked pinto, Cannolini or any kind of bean you like to American Chop Suey- my husband loves it. The beans boost the protein level and stretches the total servings abit. I make a huge batch this way- freezes well too.

    Our lifestyle is not terribly healthy, but we’re trying to improve it by using more natural products such as these! I have also been using baking soda and vinegar in place of strong cleaning chemicals – makes cleaning the tub a much less painful task.

    We are also on the path to getting healthier and more green in our home. We do little things like using reusable bags, clean with vinegar and Dr. Bronners, and recently I switched to a all natural shampoo and conditioner for me and the kiddos.
