Children’s Museum Easton Celebrating Father’s Day

Located in a historic Old Fire Station in North Easton, MA, The Children’s Museum in Easton is an educational, cultural, and social learning center for children and families focusing on children ages 1-8. The museum has over 3 floors of interactive exhibits and 100s of programs that allow kids to explore.

In celebration of Father’s Day, the Easton Museum would be holding their 15th annual road race. If you live in the area, please participate in the race to make it a success. You may get to meet the celebrity father and son team – Team Hoyt! Dick and Rick Hoyt. While Dick is a retired lieutenant colonel, Rick is a graduate of Boston Unversity and suffers from cerebral palsy.

Unfortunately many father’s, even in the year 2009, still consider taking care of children as unmanly. They can learn a thing or two from the Team Hoyt. I was personally tearing when I saw their video on YouTube. What an inspirational story. Every father should watch this video.
