Mom’s Nite Out! Are You In?

PARENTING | | May 3, 2009 at 2:07 pm

mn-logo-final2The first National Mom’s Nite Out is scheduled for May 7th, 2009 and includes special events, virtual communal celebrations and the common goal of celebrating motherhood. More than 200 mom bloggers, 50 mom websites, and a dozen companies have committed to giving Moms a well-deserved night off.

Our goal in hosting National Mom’s Nite Out is to unite Moms all over the country prior to Mother’s Day,” says Maria Bailey, Author of “The Ultimate Mom Book” (HCI, 2009) and Host of Mom Talk Radio. “Most moms spend Mother’s Day

taking care of the other mothers in their lives so we hope to give moms a well deserved night off right before Mother’s Day.”

Look at the  National Mom’s Nite Out website, www.momsniteout.com to see if there is a location near you. Don’t fret if not, as you can still take part online and win loads of prizes.

Top mom bloggers (including Mommy Niri!) and highly respected mom experts are also getting in on the fun by hosting their own events.

  • What: National Mom’s Nite Out is shaping up to be the largest cooperative effort of Mommy groups, Mom-focused orga nizations, bloggers and vloggers- all coming together for one great night in support of motherhood. Mommy Niri will be co-hosting a local party at the Children’s Orchard in Billerica, MA.
  • When: Thursday, May 7, 2009 (Thursday before Mother’s Day). 6:00p m to 8:00pm.
  • Why: Free food, massages, gifts, giveaways, music and a night to celebrate you, the MOM!

A big shout out at my wonderful sponsors: The Children’s Museum of NH, The Children’s Museum of Easton and Itza Bitza (manufacturers of the coolest pre-K PC drawing game). Watch out for more news later in the month from these guys!

I hope to be able to see you there. Need more details? Email me at mommy@mommyniri.com

Loving the logo, Mommy Niri! I’m in. But, the baby usually nurses to sleep from 7-8. I’d rather come late but maybe I’ll come early and leave the boys to fend for themselves at suppertime. Thanks for doing this!
