Old Sturbridge Village
Uncategorized | Mommy Niri | July 5, 2008 at 6:59 pmThe weather was so overcast, it made a hopeful beach visit impossible, so we ventured all the way to Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge. The rain began to come down pretty hard but nothing was going to get into our way of having a good time. Anyway since Sturbridge was a real hike getting to there was no way we were going back. The authentic costumes, acting and entire village made us feel like we had stepped out of a time machine. It was pretty exciting, yet relaxing taking a boat ride on a river covered with lily pads and the prettiest flowers. A stagecoach was drawn by two of the finest horses gave us a delightful, and surprisingly smooth, ride around the village.
