Strawberry Picking At Smolak Farms

Strawberry Picking seemed like the best way to enjoy another perfect summer day with the kids. They would be outside, working for their own food and kept busy out of trouble. Sounds ideal, doesn’t it? Jia and Bela seemed undeterred by the fact that the ripe strawberries were few and far between and had a good time hunting anyway. While Jia, the “don’t-make-me eat-anything-messy” girl, was a little selective in her choice of strawberries, her little sister Bela was not so discerning. Bela enjoyed all the strawberries – white, green, red and most certainly ones that were far from appetizing.
